I didn't see anything that detailed out the reasons for the increase. However, I have a close friend in the budget department of another region who had calculated that the pending increase in minimum wage was going to have a significant effect on the budget. Somewhere in the realm of 2%.

may be we should have another topic in the forum to discuss the minimum wage increase and its implications.

That's exactly what I am thinking
It is the wage floor not ceiling going up

I still am wondering about "all this turnover" when ToM has nothing posted

Doesn't pay nearly enough
Rather work for the Fed

You mean like all those self serve kiosks in McD & WM?
We all know this new min wage is going to hurt the people it was intended to help

Don't let it stop you voting Liberal though

Those kiosks and other automation were happening without a minimum wage increase, Mr. Peppermints.

Also it's never a smart look to be butthurt about an election. Kathleen Wynnes approval rating is like a -6% now, you're just preaching to the choir. Cons, libtards, the neutrals, they all think the same thing. Hopefully your next Conservative figurehead won't start their next campaign by announcing the immediate removal of 100,000 jobs or whatever it was.
