It looks like most people moved on to corporate social media, for better or worse.

I'm on Rumble, Getter, YouTube.
One good thing about those is that there is generally far less mindless bickering on there, excepting Twitter maybe.


PS Its good to stay informed and engage in local issues as one can affect most change at the local level.

Ha!! It’s been a looooong time since I’ve even looked at this site. Funny the other day I was driving by your old (maybe the same?) street and thought “I wonder how backwards niewendyk is doing these days.”

Don’t have Facebook, Twitter, or anything really. Would rather get drunk and watch sports than argue with people on the internet or the crazies that are still here (it’s basically only Mr Peppermint left who checks in on this place when he isn’t rolling coal in his small-dick pickup truck plastered with f**K Trudeau paraphernalia).

With the crap that Meta and X have become, might be an idea to re start this deal

It's hard to buck the Facebook and Twitter wave (Meta & X). This Forum will hopefully always be here though.

I still use the archives/searches often to find historical Milton info.

Rick, I think you've been wise to keep this forum running [reasons redacted], I think time may still be kind to it.
And same, it still stands as an occasional resource for me, I'm in here on my quarterly looky-loo
