I'm not a thief but it felt kinda good saving that much money thanks to a price matcher!

You are a thief. That's pretty obvious. Weird that you would deny it. Love how this forum has devolved into something else entirely. :P

Just getting caught up on this amusing thread, and amazed that this post got mostly glossed over. It's a tad bit ... rapey isn't it?

I guess that's why he edited it?

Hahaha ! Princess Beata, I'd bet you possibly created even more price matchers out of people in the Town of milton than ever before with this rant of yours. The bitchiness and attitude you displayed here are now going to make people try to price match. Not only will they will save money in the process, but the chance that they will try and encounter you, just to instigate a reaction out of you, to see what you would do.

Oh well...

I only know PP from this forum, but everything I've read leads me to believe he's the type of person who is very accountable for his actions and takes them seriously. Not sure what that has to do with God-fearing ...

Why? Because he wages war against the weeds every summer or he barfs out stats about his beloved Maple Leafs and stands by his typed words of *cough cough* wisdom? Please. He becomes a giant arrogant asshole if anyone challenges him or questions him. The boots, I can understand. But telling me he'd return a $100 folded up bill that he found in the middle of the floor in a giant department store is utter crap. He's just sore that the Habs are in the playoffs and he's left cheering for the Leafs' high school equivalent so he will now sh*t on everything I say until the next hockey season starts.

Do you shop at Wal Mart?

No, but not because I'm above saving money, I just like to spend my money at stores that pay their employees a living wage.

Then don't shop retail/food service at all, unless it's Costco or Starbucks. Doesn't matter how shiny the store is or how high end, generally the employees usually make the same as Wal-Mart workers.

If I saw someone drop the money, I'd return it. If I don't see who dropped it, it's mine to keep.
Cashier at Wal Mart screwed up, someone dropped a $100 bill...hate the game, not the player.

Anyways, you're just sore that the Habs made it to the eastern conference finals so even if I said that I saved a bunch of nuns from a burning building after having left Wal Mart where I was price matching cause we're trying to save money to be able to afford milk for our kid, you would have found one way or another to get all asshole-ish about it.

Anyone who takes merchandise from a store without paying is committing theft. Justifying it by blaming a confused cashier just does not cut it. Man up and pay.

It isn't yours to keep, you made the concious decision to take it for one reason or another. Who knows who it belongs to. It could be a kid, a single mother buying groceries or a cancer patient using their last dollars to fill their prescription to stay alive. It could be a rich guy who doesn't need it too, but you don't know. But the fact of the matter is, you took it even though it is not yours. Justify it any way you would like, but you took something that does not belong to you. If you see a car at the side of the road with nobody there, do you take that too?

Those who leaves their cars on the driveway close to store entrance and go shopping must be evaporated.

Take it? It was on the floor. I didn't swipe it out of someone's pocket. I didn't see someone drop it. A car has a registered owner. A $100 bill doesn't. There's a big difference.

But I understand...had PP thrown confetti at me for keeping the money, everyone would have thrown confetti. Online lemmings still exist. Weird.

No there isn't a big difference, you took something that is not yours, period. That's ok, scumbags like you give me reason enough to feel good about myself. PP and I have many differences of opinion... who has the bigger wang, how to properly maintain a lawn, should women be allowed to work, all sorts of subjects.. On this one, we do agree though.

But spin it anyway you would like. You possibly just made someone die, enjoy your sleep.
