Jennifer - I just want to echo what the others said... a mother's work is very much appreciated even when it doesn't go as planned
This year, my husband, my children and I recycled some of MY MOM's old work... we have 2 boxes full of costumes she has made for various people over the years. It was so fun to wear them all again! Though I haven't the courage to get one of my kids to wear the skunk costume she made me wear one year... homemade, and cute... but I can remember the embarrassment of it to this day!
That's awesome ... mine went in the garbage. Maybe next year it will be worth keeping
