This is a sticky thread for local jobs in Milton.

If you are looking to hire someone in Milton (i.e. the person would work in Milton) you can post the job information here. All I ask is once the position is filled please delete/remove your post from this thread.

I'll start it off for a recent job posting I know of in Milton...

Bang Creative (Office in downtown Milton) is looking to hire a web developer. More info here.

I am in the job search process. In my searches I'm finding quite a few blue collar jobs and retail in Milton (electrician, shipping/receiving, CNC operator, warehouse, factory line, etc.) but basically nothing for IT and other office jobs. There seem to be lots in Mississauga so you shouldn't have to commute to Toronto.

PM me what field of IT you are in and I'll let you know if I see anything. I'm using the following sites:
Workopolis
Simply Hired
Tiptopjob.com
Linkedin
jobbank.gc.ca

Are you looking for a full time job as an Office Manager? I am helping the President over at TorontoJobs.ca recruit a suitable candidate. The client, located in Brampton, is looking for an Administrator/Office Manager to assist the company President. Message me if you're interested!

Highlights of Role

-Managing a fleet of vehicles – e.g. 30-40 vehicles, ordering, maintaining files of each ve...hicle, dealing with leasing company.
-Dealing with customs/broker forms.
-Looking after the plans for 90 cellphones that the company has for sales staff, etc.
some junior accounting – accounts payable coding, posting.
-Pay range will depend on the amount of years of experience, but is in the $40-50K range.
-Hours are typical office hours, i.e. 8:30-5.
-This is a new position as a result of growth. It needs someone who has high energy and very well organized. They might also fill in roles as needed as backups for other people – e.g. reception/answering phones, doing bank deposits, etc.
-Must have excellent communication and presentation skills.

LoL - you're hilarous!

im in toronto - just moved to milton 4 months ago - first 2 i drove back and fourth - drive home was usually 1.5 hrs from the financial district....but then i discovered the go train - way better - see if that will work - not sure what level of career you are at - but i doubt there is much IT in Milton...
