Going to the leafs game tomorrow, and apparently you need to make a reservation with real sports bar 3 weeks in advance!!!

What is your favorite non-chain resturant to hit before the game?

Especially before a game, I like Wayne Gretzky's Restaurant. Great atmosphere, good food, decent prices (for downtown TO), and best of all it's the hybrid sports bar/restaurant so it will get you pretty pumped up before the game.

We also went to the game tonight. We were going to go to Harbour Sports Grill based on the suggestion here, but ended up at Joe Bidali's which was good.

Pretty full there most of the time, I find reservations are a must. Good spot though.

Isn't Cest What in that area too? Good beer there.

C'est What is a couple of blocks EAST of the ACC (Front/Church) but beats Joe Badali's any day of the week, especially if you prefer real beer to the swill crap the macro brewers serve at places like Joe Badali's (and the Loose Moose)
