Netflix has a good offering of kids shows. You can switch between Netflix US and Netflix Canada with a single subscription with a bit of technical know how. It's the best bang for your buck.

If you really want only Treehouse, you can get the Treehouse app for iPad. The subscription is $10/month, so the value isn't really as good as Netflix, but does give you exactly what you want.

Other than using their iOS video app and paying $10/mo I can only think of finding a friend and using Slingbox.

If I had to give up treehouse, I'd probably go to the Milton library, rent a bunch of DVDs like leapfrog etc, rip, return, repeat.

Routehero is right. Netflix has more kids shows than you can shake a stick at.

All the characters, full seasons, for $8/month.

+1 Netflix for kids tv viewing. My little ones watch all kinds of shows and many of them are from Tree house. We've been without Cogeco for a few months now and I'll never look back :)

What Internet provider do you use? I'm contemplating dropping Cogeco too in favour of streaming via Netflix but I need Internet still

Ha...I was in the same boat about 6 months ago :)

I switched internet providers to StandardBroadband to take advantage of their unlimited net. After that, got the Treehouse app on the iPad. I also got US Netflix (Paid for the Unblock-US Service) because it has WAY more content than the Canadian version...

This is the best way I've found...

Hey amitbuk, what's the quality of Standard Broadband like?

Speed is very up-and-down to be honest. I'm paying for the 15/1.5 service - I get those speeds in the morning and very late at night. During the day I usually get 10/1 service, sometimes slightly less.

It's still able to handle whatever we throw at it - Netflix, YouTube, my work - all at the same time...

True that. I like to smoke a bowl with my kid and watch Grover explain the differences between "near" and "far" for a half hour. We find it hilarious.

I love that episode too. I can't figure out how he runs so far away when my TV is only 2 inches deep. I guess a good actor can make you believe anything.
I miss the Sesame Street Aliens though. Yip yip yip!

Awesome.

If you hook up to the US feed of netflix, there are loads of great cosmology documentaries to watch. Nothing better than watching a doc on Quantum Theory after smoking a bowl. The entangled pairs almost make sense!

so "smoking a bowl" in relation to Tree house is a good fit.. WOW...

I bet you don't think twice about having a beer, glass of wine or mixed drink in the presence of a child.

Hell, I would wager that the people who think up most of the sh*t on kids' shows are high to begin with.
