If you are Irish or want to be Irish for a day, the Destination Campbellville Community Association and Finnegans Irish Pub are hosting the second annual St. Patricks Day parade next Saturday March 16th starting at 1.30 pm on Reid Sideroad just west of the Guelph Line/#401 interchange heading south on Crawford Cr. and Main St. (Guelph Line) ending at the Campbellville Lions Hall. Ah yes, the Armagh Best's. Thanks Martin, most of my family are from counties Cork, Antrim and Dorset (England but don't hold that against me). Will be at the empty bowls dinner later. Just having some fun with the day. Hopefully it will be warm and sunny like last year. Hi justagirl. Thanks for the thought, but no you do not have to bring anything to the parade which is sponsored by Finnegans Irish Pub and the DCCA. Just dress warm, enjoy the parade and downtown Campbellville! Parade takes about 20-30 minutes to pass any point. Plenty of parking off Crawford Cr. along Main St. N. (Guelph line) and Campbell Avenue east and west of Main St. Colin Best Local & regional councillor Wards 2,3,4,5 North of Derry road including the Campbellville area. Milton/Halton |
