Just a heads up folks! There is a coyote in the neighbourhood, we saw it last night in the ravine close to Clark, it hung around for a bit and then headed north on Fourth Line. Be aware in case you are walking your dogs along the path at night or early morning.

Probably the same one we saw in the field between 4th Line and Ferguson a few Sundays ago - at 9:30 in the morning!

I wish the old time farmers could just deal with it. Not scary or surprising. YOU MOVED TO A RURAL AREA.

Did not scare or surprise me at all. Actually the time did surprise me - it was a super bright day and I am used to seeing them on greyer days or at dawn/dusk.

But I actually like the fact there is wildlife around us. Plus it was running through the field and it really was something to see that close up - beautiful animal!

My kids and I watch the coyotes often hanging around the ravine area. They have been there for years. Sometimes they are so loud they wake us up at night. Last night we enjoyed watching a couple raccoons swimming across the creek and this morning there was a skunk running in there as well. I love seeing all the animals so close!

Were they both female? Were they making out?

Pics or it didn't happen.

Oh wait.

Coyotes? I was sure our urban sprawl forced 99% of mother nature away from Halton.
