About 1 and a half feet deep and about 10 feet in length of our grass has been destroyed, thanks to the snow removal people who plowed our sidewalk. Who's responsibility is this? |

Complain to the town. Neighbour had his BMW plowed by the sidewalk thing too. |

Complain to your husband, he should have shovelled the walk before the Plow came. Wait 30 days, throw some seed on it and it will be green at the same time the rest of your lawn is. Unless it really is 1.5ft deep, then you might talk to the town. |

We had the same issue a few years ago, the plow came by and took half the boulevard, come the spring when I was doing the gardens I dropped the soil on my own and laid seed. Within a few weeks it was all back to normal. Good luck!!!!! |

Next year you could put out those little reflectors on a stick to help the guy out. |

It is 1.5 - 2 ft in width (by deep, I meant into our lawn..not into the ground) and about 10 ft in length (maybe even more...I just eyeballed it quickly this weekend cause of the warm weather). My husband is diligent when it comes to removing the snow on the sidewalk because it's highly travelled by pedestrians and who would wanna get blamed for someone falling and breaking a leg. But he was working later on the day of the last big snowfall (Feb 8th) and that nite, the plow came by and took our grass with it. The reflector thingies are a good idea. Will do that for next winter. |

reflector things don't work. My neighbour at the old place had them. Didn't matter. I think it is just something that may happen when the sidewalk plow comes around. My husband used to bitch about it, I just let him go lol. The lawn always came back. |

NIT, those hillbillies will just plow right over the reflectors. Don't waste your $$$ |

I wouldn't worry about it too much. Once spring comes the ground will defrosted, and most of that destroyed tire marked lawn will pop back up and disappear. If there are any tire marks left by mid April just purchase a bag of garden soil and fill in the tire mark. Sprinkle some seed, water, problem solved. Very simple fix |

It will grow back usually without any issues (at least it has been growing back for the last 4 years). |

This will happen to you every year, but it will grow back every time. |
