love making random threads too lol, this could have been mentioned on your existing wind thread, or one of the several other WIND threads :)

I got an iPhone 5 and it supports LTE. I even clocked it to download more than 40 MBps using speedtest ap in some locations in Milton.

Wind Mobile doesn't have LTE. Therefore, their iPhone 5 will function with 3G networks instead of 4G networks. They are still way behind the other networks. Sad.

Like you've never made a dumb thread before... and then gone back and removed everything you wrote.

I do that often, but because people are usually too retarded to stick to the topic and I don't see a reason to give them a thread to placate their inabilities to participate fruitfully, instead giving a variety of useless responses with no other agenda than bolstering their post counts. Thus I end up deleting.

(walk i talk silly when im sober)

Most inexpensive plan Bell and Rogers offers for text, data, and talk is about $60... and if Apple doesn't get there hand into the Wind program to much... they have an unlimited plan for $30

That seems like a fair trade off for no LTE... YET

Looks like a company called Fongo has put in a bid to buy Wind. Just saw the headline whiz by on BNN. Never heard of them.

EDIT: looks like a VOIP provider already working in Canada

You think post count is important????!!

To people with internet egos like the trolls here, yes i do think that you think its important. 90% of postings are drivel.

"Hi everyone, the reports are true - the iPhone is becoming compatible with WIND Mobile's network! Stay tuned."

I wonder what they will charge for it and will they change the plans around.

You really are so pro-Wind eh
You do realize though:

1- The AWS version of the iPhone was initially being sold ONLY via T-Mobile (USA) & Apple
2- In order for Wind to ever get their hands on this they need to make specific quantity agreements with Apple

So yes in the near future there will be a compatible iPhone
But it is being very optimistic to think Wind can get the volume required to purchase (subsidize)
If Wind sold the phone (locked) for same price as Apple (unlocked) why would you buy it?
If Wind sold it for less than Apple this will further hurt the bottom line of a brand who stands on a financial cliff

Wind has already dropped out & refused to bid on next spectrum
Wind will not have LTE at all

Bell & Rogers (& all the smaller brands) have way more coverage also for people who travel further from their homes than local transit allows

Yes, I was actually referring to the speed of LTE, not the actual band... but since thread got derailed, I thought my comment got lost.
