I picked up a pretty mint fox t-top notch. (If you know what I just said then you have some decent mustang cred)

I decided to eliminate my Mustang aspirations for now.

I noticed with the pre-owned and even the new ones, there are noticeable panel gaps (to me at least - not everyone will notice/care), and body lines that don't align perfectly with other body pieces.

I'll consider in the future when I have the space for two cars, but this low finishing standard doesn't give me confidence in the car as a daily driver.

I even bought a set of Weathertechs in anticipation of getting one, but the low build quality was too much for me, so if anyone wants to buy these off me for 2015+ models, they're for sale now.

Panel gaps are a huge issue but has gotten better with each year. Don't judge the rest of the car based on this as it is pretty solid. Interior quality is good and engine is very good. I just got into (another) 2018 Lexus IS 350 F Sport, and honestly I was surprised at Ford's quality coming from one. The gap (no pun intended) is definitely shrinking when it comes to quality.
