One shingle or a few shingles you will likely need to pay a minimum fee to have a roofer do this repair. I would expect that fee to be $150 or more.

One missing shingle, if there is not exposed wood below it may not be an issue right now BUT, if you still choose to get this done then I would suggest you spend a bit more while the roofer is there and have the roof fully inspected for other issues, have nailheads re-sealed, etc. That is smart to do anyways.

My advice would be to call Lloyd at Strata Roofing at 905 299 2372. He is local and has done repairs on many local roofs. He is also the roofer who I chose to shingle my garage and install my garage skylight.

There were some of those plastic signs on coat hanger rods all up Thompson and along LSL for flat fee $150 roof repairs. Maybe drive around and you might find one, or walk LSL watching the ditch on the south side. I think they were put out in Feb though.
