Just a head's up to those who are planning to do some shopping at the Superstore. Debit is down, with cash and credit card the only option. Lines are almost like on the Saturday at Easter, with some delays, because some people have forgotten their 'pins' for their credit cards. A quick shopping trip lasted 45 minutes because the self serve stations are closed.

Thanks for letting us know. This is another reason why I always carry cash unlike the majority of peeps these days. Last week, the Ontario St Tim Horton's electronic payment devices were down, so it must have been a painful morning then too.

You mean people don't already use reward credit cards for ALL their purchases? I get 2 flights to Vancouver a year from doing that, it's awesome. Debit is for losers. SAD

...and yet in what is a ridiculous policy imo, they've removed the "cash" option from all their self checkouts ! Gotta' use a card! ... another reason not to go there.
