Maybe they confused Milton with Malton.

I've learned it's easy to make pizza at home that is far superior to anything you can buy. Like, extremely easy. Once you get your dough and sauce dialed in you're laughing.

Less easy being how to properly resize an inline image in a message board
I don't think you could have made it any larger than that

Now we're talking.

Two are on the stone, 500 convection (makes a big diff), wish it could get hotter but it can't. Preheat the oven for 30min at least to get that thing nice and hot.
Other was in a cast iron pan.

I've found there are 2 main things to getting awesome pizzas:
1) you need to start with round balls of dough to get round pizzas
2) using a rolling pin is a terrible idea
3) you gotta make your own sauce. Super easy, just get the best crushed tomatoes you an find, and throw them in a blender with some fresh basil, sugar, salt, and whatever other crap you wanna put in there. Never cook your sauce, it needs to be fresh. And for gods sake never BUY sauce either. Blech...

Haven't found a stone
that can handle the heat
without cracking.

Was thinking a big slab of metal
would be better.
When I put the pool in I'll also be
building a wood fired oven.

5 years in Milton and I finally tried Halifax Donair pizza. What took me so long? It's so good! But I usually end up at Pizzaville because it's a 30 second walk from my house. If we feel like driving to pick it up, our fav way to have pizza for dinner is ordering a pizza and salad from Pasqualino. It never disappoints.
