I saw that they were open. I will go try it out, thanks for the reminder. I still rank Hood and Grill as the best chicken shawarma in town so far.

Our town is getting invaded by pizza and shawarma joints, wow.

I'm hearing good things about Shawarma Town on Laurier Avenue.....haven't tried it yet.

Still like Shawarma Corner & the Hood & Grill the best.

Does Lazeez have a shawarma salad?

Tried it today. They were a bit disorganized, but the staff was friendly, plus its only been a few days, so they'll sort it out im sure. Excellent toppings selection like Shawarma Corner.

Chicken was tender and fairly good, but not as flavourful as Hood and Grill's in my opinion, so I will stick with H&G, but it was better than Shawarma Corner's burnt chicken. For those conscious of calories, you'll have to modulate how much garlic sauce they put on because if you don't say anything, they will drown your meal in it.

Give them a try. I admire anyone w the stones to open a restaurant bc food is so expensive these days, so I hope they do well.

Checked out Lazeez last night as well. Food was great. But I was probably waiting in the store for about 20 minutes just for takeout. It was a zoo and fairly disorganized. I like with H&G I can call just before leaving my house and its ready when I get there.

Will probably check out Lazeez again if the wait times get better.

Ditto about the sheer volume of garlic sauce!

I will say, excellent value for their large shawarma wrap. A much better meal than getting a sub for sure. I'm eating the other half for breakfast right now a I type, haha.

So first time I went there the shawarma wrap I got was amazing. THE BEST.

Normally I go to Nutso @ Dundas and Trafalger because every other place I tried in Milton was yes good value for the money but nothing to write home about.

After my first amazing experience I thought amazing no more going out of my way for a GOOD tasting shawarma wrap.

Wrong. Went there a second time and it tasted completely different.

They give you alot for your money but if you dont care about price and care about quality like I do you will be disappointing in the lack of consistency.

They can make an amazing shawarma here (on a good day)

Not being mean, just honest.

After my last visit Im back to going to Dundas & Trafalger where for years every visit tastes great and the same.

I was not the only one in my group that said wow no consistency here.

There are lots of places that sell shawarma and give you lots for your money. But when I eat Im not looking for a good deal Im looking to enjoy what I eat.

Half my shawarma went in the garbage the last visit. so did half the shawarma of someone else that was with me.

Also note on my first amazing visit the person who I think owns the place prepared our food on my second visit a new kid that seemed very new to the job prepared our food that might be why.

After being dissapointed Ide have to say if you want shawarma without leaving Milton go to Hood & Grill.

Shawarma Corner for my tastes sucks. Yess lots of food little money but lots of crap food doesnt cut it for me.

Hood and Grill is good, Im sure Ill eat there again.

Lazeez first visit AMAZING second visit felt like shawarma corner.

Ive done shawarma corner multiple times a friend loves to go there, each time same disappointment for me. on the rocks, on ice, dinner and wrap all were good value if it actually would have tasted good.... you get what you pay for.

I think you need to start your own shwarma review youtube channel. I'd watch it.

Driving all the way to Dundas and Trafalgar for Pita Nutso, of all places? You can cross value for money out of that equation!

I know...but Pita Nutso. I don't even think that place is in my top 10 places to go for Shawarma. Was just surprised people drive that far for that place.

Does anyone have a phone number to call in an order at Lazeez. They don't have a number on their site or google. Last time I think I waited like 20 minutes in the store, would love to avoid that!
