So the 8 yr old and I got into this chat last night.
We agreed root beer and Caesar salad can provide some epic gas. We're talking quality aroma vs. quantity or volume.
I need more input, as it is sure to come up again, and root beer was the only really great belch I had to brag about in recent memory.

have some salami, cheese and then some garlic. wait 30-45 mins. then chug some root beer and control your belch so it's coming from the depths of your stomach and it's long and slow.

edit: oh and some kimchee or sauerkraut is also nice and fragrant

Roti and ginger-beer test flight tomorrow, old age permitting.
We're both already thinking about blooming onion combos for this weekend.

Try the Ribfest this weekend, that could work. There must be something deep fried to throw down there, and I'd switch to Dr. Pepper for advanced carbonation, that's what the pros use.

Belch is burp, right? I saw aroma, so I'm wondering which end for the emissions we're talking about here.

Take a few sips of a freshly-opened bottle of beer and you will get some quick burps. For the other end, a meal with broccoli, and then slamming back a whey protein shake will generate some toxic emissions that could break a DriveClean machine.
