Well lets forget the pot stocks and get into Beet Juice stocks, ground floor, Hodor must be smiling.

Same re-hash year after year. I'm sure some young ppl out there are starting to scream "My God we must stop using salt".

One of my daughters uses too much salt :)

Seriously. Yes, road salt wrecks everything.

Canada is not entirely covered with salt. Not even all of Ontario. Because after -15 salt is not applied, it is not melting.

Some countries are using liquid chemicals, maybe in GTA somewhere as well. It is more expensive and more complicated to apply.

Some countries are allowing studs in tires and using gravel crunch which is partially recoverable, reusable. And no salt. But it works best if it is steady bellow freezing mark during winter season.

The problem is in the past few years (it seams). Some plazas in Milton are so over-salted it is hard to distinguish, is it snow or salt banks.
