I have a house with ravine backing (there is no walking area / trail in the ravine area behind the house). House is approx. 5 years old.

It seems like whatever plants and shrubs were put there (on the ravine side of the fence) are dead and now I only see big weeds on the ravine side (adjacent to the fence).

Is there a way to tell town of Milton to get rid of the weeds and put proper plants/shrubs on the ravine side of the fence? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Fill out a request onlline at milton.ca. They will respond and let you know what's happening.

That has nothing to do with it.

If the property has trees/plants that were supposed to be managed by the town, they will take the appropriate action to replace or remove the plants and maintain it as they should be. More likely this was a “no maintenance” type of installment though, so they might just replace the dead shrubs and walk away completely.

I maintain the town property behind my house - they only mow half of it and the other half becomes a nursery for giant prickly weeds otherwise. Town just came and removed a dead tree there a month ago. I expect them to put in a new one in the spring.
