Yeah but did you know the Toronto Maple Leafs just completed their best season ever ,,,

No sane person could even attempt to argue this was the Leafs "best season ever".

No, the Leafs "best season ever" was in 1967.

You’re like the biggest neckbeard in NHL history.

I had zero sympathy for these buyers when I read the article, now I have a wee bit. Nobody knows when the market is at it's peak, and the purchases were made before intervention buy either government. At the time no one had any idea what the impact would be. In my world the province did quite enough to straighten things out. I felt a leveling off of things would be fine, but the feds decided a retraction was in order. Older buyers have seen the ups and downs, but there hasn't been a pullback since 1990 and many in the market today haven't been around long enough to remember that.

Haven't been around long enough? I don't buy that for a second. Pretty sure everyone knows how the economy can scale back (housing market crash (US) in 2008). If that wasn't enough to make people think twice about "bubbles" and to not overextend on ANY purchase, I'm not sure what is. Everyone needs to have some safety net, or you might as well go to Vegas and go buck wild if you want to live on the edge.

Freddy Andersen now holds the record for most wins in a season by a leafs goalie?

3 wins in a 7 game series?

Another goalie ruined after playing a season in Toronto

What a nice way of saying "I will never marry you".

Shame though  She looks like a great gal.

I think it’s pretty clear I’m the only person who watches hockey here.

Fixed it for you

Best season ever

@HHI - I think everyone (other than Hodor) wants to see Fleury beat Murray at this point

Re-fixed.
I hear Winnipeg is pretty hot this time of year.
The legit Stanley cup series is being played right now. nsh vs. wpg. The leafs can’t play at that level.....yet.

No, it’s still hockey. These clowns can’t wrap their heads around what the word ‘season’ means. It’s also somehow shameful that the team who finished 7th overall lost to the team that finished 4th in a 7 game series.

Winnipeg/Nashville is going to be must-see-tv for the next 2 weeks.

It's interesting how all the action is always out west
Even an expansion team can't slow them down

Oh cmon Hodor despite your love for the Leafs
You can't deny their point total was insanely inflated this year due to playing in such a weak ass division

Maybe it was, maybe it wasn’t. They’re still a good team though. Just missing a few more pieces. At least they are fun to watch again!
