Has anyone replaced or removed those vinyl railings? I'm took a quick glace at it and i'm not sure how they're secured to the post. I don't see a cap of any sort at the ends where they attach to the post.

What ?? You want to remove the rails but not the posts ??

Look underneath the rails where they connect to the post and you should see how they are fastened together. use a small mirrow. That will help you look easily without bending down and cranking your neck to look up.

thank you. i'll take a closer look. just took a brief look over the weekend.

it's at the front of the house on the second floor and the post goes all the way up to the roof. looks structural so don't want to touch it. want to remove and put some glass railings in :)
