Can I meet you for real one day? Are you actually an insane person or just play one online?

So I chatted with the person at the end of the above email and phone numbers at the McDonalds near the Sports Complex
today and like in the Channel 17 PBS sponsorship drive
the volunteer is standing by but the phones aren't ringing

So

Sheldon working out of Ottawa
Naomi and Yolane working out of Milton all collaborated
to produce this Play
with a 10 minute or so blurb about a missing indigenous girl who came out
all right

Financially they're getting paid about $10,000 to have written the Play
so folk might want to get the volunteer by the silent phone busy

There are also about 14 ten page reports from the students on what they did
and since Yolane is a Lab Assistant student at Guelph
there should be a assembled prototype Juniour Health Sciences Lab Kit to educate and
bring comfort to a disabled child in her (Yolanes) basement

Yup.I still remember who might be Riel the Biker Prarie Dog's daddy

I pitched him to CBC's Kids Show recently but they
replied they already have their own
inhouse
Big Hairy Biker Animal Kids Show in development.

Ah somebody remembers. Then I'll explain how "Riel" came to be

Years ago I was on one of those Christmas story exchanges where someone writes a story for
you and you write a story for them.

This person wanted a story about South African meerkats ( surikato)
and I had writers block cuz I could have cared less about meerkats.

However I then dreamed up a story universe in which
way in the future Canada rules not just Earth, not even just the Milky Way
but "everything"

A sort of cold blooded Stephen Harper/Darth Vader type government

Into that mix I assumed those South African meerkats found a long lost
"Hypergalactic Museum" and that the star faring museums last exhibit had been on the
Metis and the Rebellion of 1885

Engineer: a mechanically minded meerkat who carries around a laptop sized device
called "Distress Thing"

The Captain" a feminist hothead of a meerkat who constantly yells "No I won't surrender"
and fires a 4000 year old Hudsons Bay trade musket
at Stephen Harper/Darth Vader

Riel: a laidback meerkat guy just along for the ride,a sort of "Beetle Bailey" kind of soldier

And there you have the origin story

4000 years from now metis meerkats take on Canada( government) with a warp drive powered space museum

Scene
The meerkats, having spent 3000 years living off the food generated by the aging
Caliburn's Food Replicators
are now dependent for their survival on Caliburn

If Caliburn dies,they die

So knowing Canada is out to shut meerkat political activism down
the Captain is distressed
till Engineer points out that

Mother Hen
can point them in the direction of repair and replacement parts for their world.

As Engineer says:Its our stuff, lets go take it back!
