What you see being built is a sales office for the 3 towers to be built on the corner, not yet approved yet by council but that's just a formality. I think 1 yr before building then 2+ yrs construction. Height not yet confirmed but 2 will be over 20 stories is my guess and a row of townhouses at the back. Talk on this started about a yr ago, you need to be on Facebook "Milton Talk" or "Milton Daddies" to keep up with the news, it's faster than the newspaper.

Zee H. and G. Krantz were among five who voted for 25 stories plus two more high-rises on this spot.
To memorize those two as responsible for this incomming eyesore and traffic blocker I will call it as KraZeeBad.

Will not vote for them and Cluett on next municipal election. He also voted for it. Well, if we are still here (@Fred D :) )

Amazing, you got this totally ass backwards, you should be congratulating the Mayor & council for voting yes, they just saved us 100 grand in OMB fees & lawyers bills. Get with the program, understand what is happening to our Town and WHO is really responsible for it.

And the traffic it causes will bring us together too. Too close together. As if traffic isn't bad enough now.

Who told you about affordable housing?

Since then tiny studio at 400+K plus condo fees and else is affordable?
Everything larger than tiny studio is more than 400+K for this location.

Two bedrooms condo (plus condo fee, parking and else) is more expensive than free hold townhouse.

Bronte listed starting price as $535K for 1000 sq ft
Hardly what I would term "affordable"

That mortgage payment would be tough for most esp with the secondary hit of a higher interest rate + taxes & fees due at signing

What year is it in your world? That is affordable housing within GTA.
Interest, tax and fees are not new concepts. And yes, mortgage payments are tough. It’s property ownership, acquiring wealth tends to be tough.
