Over 200 showed up in violation of stay home / keep 6 foot apart voluntary rules (not laws since now unconstitutional)

https://torontosun.com/news/local-news/ ... y-measures

Over 2000 more show up to hang out along Lakeshore

https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/ ... -1.5545389

As anyone who looked outside today saw noone in Milton is listening anymore either (I personally witnessed a street party with at least 50+ people and a birthday party celebration with cars lined along the street)

The Lockdown is crashing down as we speak

"Mass protest". 200 people. Okay.

Wouldn't it have been smart of them to all socially distance between each other. That likely would have accomplished the point of their protest by showing the province that they are smart enough to deal with the rules needed to squash this virus thus encouraging the province to relax restrictions.

But no,,,,,, instead more people left the protest with the virus than those who arrived.

Maybe someone should have set up a lysol injection site - I'm sure he or she would have been very busy

^^^^ NOTE - The previous sentence is a joke.

Its basically impossible to socially distance in Toronto
Small dense city population
We don't have same issue here

Google CurbTO
This week city is closing / reducing 10 roads to allow pedestrians to safely walk on street or on curb / parking lanes
City promising over 100 roads will be closed by time engineers finish study

As it stands now its pretty much impossible to go out buy groceries or walk fido without getting too close to someone else or when two people walk in opposite directions

Normalizing panic, hunkering down for the long haul, despite ourselves.

And bewilderingly, in a place doing an even better job at this than Ontario:

Oktoberfest Canceled Due To Coronavirus

On Tuesday, German officials announced that this year's Oktoberfest has been canceled.
This isn't the first time the 210-year-old festival has been canceled. Other pandemics have previously prompted organizers to do away with the event, including a cholera outbreak in 1854.
But decades have passed since it was last canceled. The last time was during World War II.

Interesting how the massive gathering downtown was total radio silence from mainstream media simply because it does not fit the narrative
The media wants to appear neutral but its pretty obvious at this point

When you get things like Church groups being bussed in as far away as Windsor you can't exactly call them "racists" or "radical right wing"

Well over 10,000 protestors in Toronto today
Massive gathering at Yonge-Dundas square
Even politicians are involved with these demonstrations now (Randy Hillier and Maxime Bernier are probably the most notable)

Secondary group massed over at Queens Park

And 2 smaller splinter groups over at the parking lot of Adamson BBQ and camped out in front of Fords home in Etobicoke
(Funny noone is targeting Tory yet?)

Majority made a show of force that enough is enough and they won't stand for illegal lockdown orders anymore
And even if you believe in the lockdown, the sheer number of people (as far away as places like Kingston & Windsor) coming into Toronto unmasked pretty much guarantees the spread of covid if it actually exists

Photo of protest looks like a couple hundred people.

You realize that photo is from 8AM right?
Official protest did not start until noon
(I would also point out it is super suspicious a news outlet simply took a screen capture from a traffic camera instead of sending a reporter down to you know, document / photograph the event which marched past their studios)

They had an entire parade it was pretty funny, shut down entire blocks along Yonge, Queen & Spadina
Lots of videos on social media if you did not head downtown today
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iIoWi4dACfY
This single youtuber (and there are more) has 16 videos posted... it literally takes over an hour to simply walk past the massive crowd there are so many of them

And yes to be fair; thousands of protestors from across the province were bussed in
Many were not from Toronto proper

Its funny not a single ticket issued
This past week has been the LARGEST mobilization of police power since the G20
The cops are (literally) standing guard outside Fords house, in front of media buildings, over at Adamson BBQ, at Queens Park
We are talking bills in tens of millions for past week

And mainstream media is total silence for fear of getting other supporters to join in

In Toronto alone there are 8 more businesses who opened illegally today
In Peel there are 2 more (newest one is a toy store up in Bolton)
https://www.caledonenterprise.com/news- ... own-order/

People are fed up with lockdowns and other nonsense

Can you define "mainstream media" for me please. I think it's important for context.

Go watch the videos
Well over 1000 people standing right in front of City & Bell buildings
Yet neither even comments publicly
(To the contrary as HHI showed they even try a #FakeNews spin by actively trying to dissaude people from going by calling protest a "failure" 4 hours before it was scheduled to begin)

If that does not tell you something is seriously wrong in the neutrality of the news then nothing will ever woke you

BTW if interested in viewing with your own eyes; part 2 of protest scheduled today
Its a drive by protest being organized by a second group who encourages you to wear a mask since the anti-maskers had their day yesterday

TORONTO - FLY THE FLAG - DRIVE FOR FREEDOM

Mission: To raise awareness about The Line movement, and visit multiple towns while on route to our final destination. We will be driving around the city as a form of mobile protest
Date: Sunday November 29, 2020
Starting Location: 1380 Don Mills Rd. Toronto (LA Fitness)
Departure Time: 12:00pm
Final Destination: Queens Park - 3:00pm

Full rules & regs are on their site but normal stuff (eg no mask shaming, must fly a Canadian flag etc) are listed
Expected to be over 500 cars in convoy based on registration page but we both know some will just randomly show up

PLUS all the anti-mask crowd is still downtown since Cornwall trip is next weekend en route to Montreal

I am sure you have seen the crazy Chris Sky guy, who beat the Covid tickets which he publicly streamed live his trial on YouTube
Tons of media all bragging when he got the ticket, but not a single one even commented on the trial, which was public on steps at Queens Park

@gb & @hhi

Does this look like "100" people to you? :)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3unoutIWa4g

There were more than 100 police deployed at least (skip ahead to 254, police talking with protestors not even wearing masks) Yet no tickets handed out yesterday at all

It borders on insanity that a week later they STILL require a large police presence over by the Adamson BBQ

Its like either arrest someone or admit the order is illegal and go home

People are out there AGAIN today (a week later) eating BBQ in the parking lot while 20+ police stand there stoically (officially they are "security" but seriously this has to be the most insane waste of taxpayer money I have ever heard of)
