I think its safe to assume all 36' lots would be sold first. Sure people may have numbers into the 300+ lots- but those are probably left over town homes and village homes. Anyone care to elaborate from what they experienced today?

It was a lot better experience than my last time buying, with over 700 people waiting outside the sale centre waiting for there number to be called and causing traffic chaos. I was number ~730 and had to wait 4 days in 2011.

They provided warm food and drinks and only allowed selection of the lot and home in the sales centre. (Likely in hopes the line would go faster, too bad a lot of people like me were extremely indecisive!).

I was in the 60's and had plenty of selection left. Got lot 130 with the home and elevation i like.

Lots #45 & 46 were an additional 60k
47,48,51-55 are additional 25k
49 is 30k
50 is 35k
56 is 10k

They may back onto a park but they also back onto the train tracks. A lot of people were unaware that there were even train tracks there.

I grew up with a house backing onto the same track albeit in mississauga with no concerns. It can be loud when you are outside and a large freight passes but overall not a big deal.

I just thought people should have been informed.

They also cut off the senior residence on hvop. Just something else buyers were unaware of.

With the recent changes being suggested to railroad transport of goods (especially like crude oil etc) after the tragic incidents in Lec Megantic and New Brunswick, I am a bit iffy personally to be around or close to the tracks. Especially the transport side of it. The one on James snow is mostly only used for the GO service if i am not mistaken.

Why is that no one seems to acknowledhe that the JSP site is also very close to train tracks? Albeit not as close but still close enough. AND those tracks are far busier that the HVOTP lines. They have GO trains several times a day- both am and pm, in addition to freight trains.

Maybe it's just me, but I find the hydro lines at the JSP location to be an eyesore as well. Especially since it's in view from many backyards and balconies.

Mattamy have been very good meeting the closing dates. They will even close a home without it being fully completed. They will try to get it done after your closing for the 30days warranty period. It is rare to see a delay with Mattamy. If there was a delay, the most it will be is a month.

They were still offering the $5K upgrades for detach homes. Not sure about the free appliances but that's pretty standard for the town homes so I won't be surprise if they are still offering the free appliances. I never take their appliances offer, I always opt for the $1500 extra on upgrades instead. Those appliances they offer only worth $800.

Did they release all the homes during the last release?
