anybody notice how the houses going up where the trailer was are getting insualtion on the outside of the house? Did anybody else get insualtion around the outside of their house?

even the houses built on phase 17 they had the insulation outside.

My guess is it's a new building code. As of 2015 they get foam board outside. Phase 17 and the last houses of phase 3 get it.

We are one of the 4 houses where the construction is happening right now near the trailer...

Unaware of the 2015 changes in building code for insulation outside....

Any comments on what was done before for the other houses earlier vs now for these new houses...Which is better?

Before no foam board outside. So just plywood. So you should be better off. Not sure if stud sizes changed 2x4 vs 2x6 but your R value should be better

this makes me thing that this is double insulation one from outside which is far better and then one inside.
