Oh, wow! It's coming fast. We drove by today and it doesn't seem like they've made any progress.

I'm on Phase 7 aswell but not on the Same Street but bought a Kingsbridge aswell. Would love to discuss Elvations and upgrade choices.

- I bought a Kingsbridge elevation 'B' didn't get lucky to get Signup Discount so I think I paid a bit more
- Did anybody tried of Opt for the Appliance or get a credit to buy your own?
- There Standard is Leminate and I have never used Laminate, Is it a good idea to have Lominate in Kitchen
- Any offordable but good Lawyer to choose.

Your help will be much approciated.

I am curious to know about the design centre options for the two-storey towns... We have yet to receive our package but I guess its understandable since are closing is in Oct. Maybe @lalexa will share their upgrade choices with us!

Our lawyer is Gord Mohan in Burlington. Can't tell you much about him but he sounded nice and knowledgeable over the phone. And he was recommended to us by a close friend. I think the rates are pretty standard from lawyer to lawyer for this kind of thing.

Went to the Sales Centre and the lady told my that with Adding $750, you can upgrade the basic appliances to SS. or can get $1500 credit for appliances towards other upgrades. I might be leaning towards to get an upgrade. still confuse about laminate in the kitchen???
will update for any info. I will be having.

Hi Farhan and San&Jov,

Our Kingsbridge model is an elevation "F."

We got the $5,000 credit at the Design Center. We also opted to take the $1,500 credit towards the DC instead of the included appliances. We aimed to stay within our $6,500 credit, but ended up going over by approx. $370.

Our design choices include:

General
- Foyer Tiles: Tuscany Bone 13 x 13; Grout: Silver Grey (Included)
- Stairs: Carpet Grade Stairs; Pickets are stained to match specified hardwood floor colour ($685)
- Stairs: Oak Square Pickets ($112)
- Carpets (Stairs and Upstairs): "So Sweet 04" (Included)
- Paint: "Kitten White" (Included)
- Doors: "Colonial" (Included)

Kitchen
- Flooring: Laminate in the colour "Terra"
- Cupboards: Executive Layout + Line 3 Manhattan Shaker Cabinets in White ($2, 614)
- Countertop: Laminate, Calcutta Marble (Included)
- Hardware: HU70 ($271)
- Other: Microwave Hood Fan in Stainless Steel ($777)

Main Bathroom
- Cupboards: Line 3 Manhattan Shaker Cabinets in White ($182)
- Countertop: Caesar Stone Quartz "Aurora Snow," Ease & Polish Edge ($1,224)
- Floor Tiles: Cinq White 13 x 13; Grout: Silver Grey (Included)
- Wall Tiles: Bamboo Off White 6x8; Grout: White; Pattern: Horizontal (Included)

Ensuite Bathroom
- Cupboards: Line 4 318 No Groves Maple in Soapstone ($177)

- Hardware: HU70 ($47)
- Floor Tiles: Cinq White 13 x 13; Grout: Silver Grey (Included)
- Wall Tiles: Reflection White 6x8; Grout: White; Pattern: Horizontal (Included)

We decided to go with laminate in the kitchen for now, we got the alternative layout and we found the quartz/granite was a bit out of our budget for right now (I think it was close to 5K)

The upgrades we got include:

General
- Stain stairs to match "Terra" laminate (approx. $700)
- Upgrade stairs to square pickets ($112)

Kitchen
- Executive Layout + Manhattan Shaker Cupboards, Line 3 ($2, 614)
- Upgraded hardware ($271)
- Stainless Steel Microwave / Hood Fan ($777)

Main Bathroom
- Manhattan Shaker Cupboards, Line 3 ($182)
- Caesar stone Quartz in Swan Cotton ($1,224)

Ensuite Bathroom
- SOHO Cupboards, Line 4 ($177)
- Caesar stone Quartz in Nugget ($782)
- Upgraded hardware ($47)

Hi,

Just curious the "- Stainless Steel Microwave / Hood Fan ($777)" comes with stainless steel microwave or just the hood and the frame for microwave to be bought separately ? $777 is very expansive if its only for the hood and the frame .

Hi Aaa,

I believe the microwave is included.

In our design guide, there are different prices for a black/white microwave ($685), so we just assumed that it comes with the microwave. There is also a price for "future microwave hood fan" which is $364; this includes shortening the cabinet over the stove.

Thanks Lalexa.

Okay then it makes sense. Thought its only the hood and the frame would be way too expansive.

Too funny - so far we've picked a lot of the same things you did for General and Kitchen. Great minds ;)

We got our DC booklet last week and just went for a tour this morning - our wish list is already getting a bit out of control. Are you going to do additional upgrades after you move in?

haha great minds:) you'll have to post the full list once it's official.

We're hoping to eventually change the counter top and add a backsplash. This is our first home though, so we'll be working on getting our house furnished!
