I just looked up for the public school zones for the new Mattamy Phase 3 and bad news...

All kids who are planning on going to the public school fall under the following school zone and a quick Google search on the school rating gave me pretty bad score @ 4.8
I'm new to Milton and not familiar with this school, can someone shred some light on this school background.

FYI: Bought a new home from Mattamy @ 550K with a school rating @ 4.8.

Are you kidding me here. Both my kids when to that school and my grandson. They turned out just fine.

The scores are based on what the kids achieve in any given year or are you going to blame the teachers and principal for these kids shortcomings.

You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink.

I believe the catholic school is St. Anthony Padua which has decent ratings... But for some reason cannot find it on the rating site you provided.

But I agree with Greenjp that as long as the parent is involved in the kids education you should be able to overcome the shortfalls of the teaching staff at the school. And it is year to year specific.

Sorry NO...I don't believe in blaming the teachers for bad school ratings. I place the blame on the students for not applying themselves day to day. A parent that takes an active interest in their child's education can and will make a different.

But if little Johnnie gets an "F" in math DON'T start yelling at the teacher. The problem is your kid.
