Hi Neighbours!

We just purchased the Shelburne model on Bartleman Terrace in Hawthorne Village South, Phase 17! We close (hopefully) in July of 2015.

We're looking forward to becoming proud Miltonians!

hello,
hawthornevillager.com is very very useful. we have recently moved to milton and looking for buying a house. This would be our first time buying. Mattamy office gave us a bunch of maps and lists.
My question is what is prebook, and is there a price difference in the available lots at mattamy now and booking one as in the map provided by SnS86.
Please can someone guide me, i have also heard that u have to stand in lines, to get your turn for a good lot and price.
Thanks

Hi all,

Its been a while since we have been on this forum, but we have purchased a new home in Phase 17.
We got the Waterford on lot 79.

Curious if any future neighbors are on here.
Awaiting your replies.

April 15th is our closing date. What about you?

Which elevation did you choose?

We went to the site on Friday---the roads are paved and the lots have been marked. Hopefully there won't be any delays.

We choose c and closing is in Feb so I really hope that they will delay, not all just our house...:)
April would work for us better.
Yes, I saw that, also we got a Stop sign too.

Do you have any info on which side the sidewalks will be placed on?

I know that our side will not have, so houses across us will. But if I remember right, I think all that island, including your house, will have. Sorry. I will check when I come home and confirm.
But nothing is 100% sure as city can change that.

Oh crap! I did notice a fire hydrant across the street from our lot, so I figured that they would have the sidewalks on that side and we wouldn't.

Sucks for us....but good for you.

We knew that we will not have sidewalk as half of our street is already built.
I will check and will let you know.
Which elevation did you take?

We went with elevation f. We were initially going to go with C but since we didn't have to pay any lot premium we decided to go with f.

If you do hear about the sidewalks I'd greatly appreciate if you let me know.
