The closest fire hydrant looks like it'll be on the side of lot 57 on Clarkson Gate. You're right that there will be a sidewalk on your lot - there are sidewalks on both sides of Farmstead.

Thanks TheLucan. Appreciate it :)
I am going to visit the Sales Centre and the site today to check how things are going on,
hopefully will take some pix and share them,
CHeers,

Seems like Mattamy is releasing the last 9 lots (unless the ones on English Mill Court by the pond are released later)

30 wide - 44/45/46/197/198/199
36 wide - 19/86/180

The Mattamy website shows there is a new release of 43' homes coming soon. Does anyone know where those are going to be?

If it's anytime soon, then I'm guessing by the pond.
Perhaps?

Went to the site today, was lucky that work was little slow, so no one asked me where are u going :)
so i went inside with my car, roamed around for a while, phase 1 streets are all paved and done, street lights are up, and lots are marked with wooden sticks.
Fire hydrants and other wall fixtures are there as well.
Phase 2 is still not touched at all!
Found a fire hydrant at the corner of Farmstead and Etheridge in front of lot 78.
some pictures to follow...

Cheers

So, here are few images I took today,
as the place all looks the same, I added a piece from the map with the angle of the picture to each picture.
enjoy :)

@ss24, no sorry I didn't.
If I knew that it would help I would have taken it.
Anyhow, this was the only area where workers were doing something :) so I was trying to avoid them :))))

30'
44, 45, 46 /$12,000
197/$20,000
199/$15,000
198/$10,000

36'
19/$25,000
180/$35,000
86/ I didn't have anything written down, and I believe it's because it didn't have a premium. The lot is on a main road, Farmstead.

Just received an email from Mattamy my closing date has been pushed back to the second tentative closing date. My original closing date was Sept. 9 2015. Looks like the delay rumors are true...

Here is the email:

Quote:
This is a status update on the construction progress of your new Mattamy home.

Due to the delays incurred in the land development process, it is evident that in order to ensure ample time for the completion of your home to the usual Mattamy standards, it is necessary to delay your 1st Tentative Closing Date, set out in your Purchase Agreement.

Accordingly, your 2nd Tentative Closing Date is January 7, 2016. Please notify your solicitor of your 2nd Tentative Closing Date. Should it be necessary to further delay this date, we would provide 90 days prior notice to set a Firm Closing Date.

The setting of the 2nd Tentative Closing Date may change other future Critical Dates, as set out in the Statement of Critical Dates within your Purchase Agreement. All other terms and conditions of the subject Agreement of Purchase and Sale to remain the same and time to remain of the essence.

If you have any questions about the completion of your new Mattamy home, please call your Customer Care Coordinator...

Hi guys, as previous owners with Mattamy I really need your help here,
I sent some questions to the DC consultant and got these replies (in red),
Can you please tell me if that's normal, and advise me what to do.
thanks

1- How much is deleting the knew wall and making rail instead? Can we do that on only one side (the one alongside the stairs)? Price depends on which handrail & picket you go with but to give you a base price if you stay with the standard, it’s $582 + $1,273 = $1,855 – no, we don’t recommend you only do one side

2- How much to delete bulkheads in kitchen and living/dining area? (we are looking to have stacked cabinet, that's why) Unfortunately, I am unable to delete the bulkhead as there is mechanical/duct work running up there – there is no option to change that, therefore stacked uppers are not an option

3- Does the patio sliding door has a screen (grills)? or we have to order? Sliding screen - Yes! Grills have to be ordered separately $222 (but for looks only – not for security)

4- What is Alt kitchen? the only difference I can see from the drawings is adding vertical cabinet beside the wall at the Fridge place. Does that take from the fridge space? Anything else I'm missing in the Alt Kitchen? You didn’t order this option from the Sales Office so this doesn’t apply to you. You have the Standard Kitchen layout

5- Couldn't find what's included in the Garage door? Not sure I understand what you’re asking can you please clarify?

6- Which window is operating in each room? No, unfortunately they do not indicate which pane will be operating in each room, you can always order a second operating pane for $276/room
