Can Mattamy delay more than twice? I got my second delay notice with a now Firm closing date. However, the notice says "at present we expect your home to be ready for occupancy by this date". They use the word present, does this mean it could change in the future? I thought two delays are maximum. Want to list my current house but am concerned with this wording.

They can delay again. I would say there is a 95% chance that's a firm closing date

Did mattamy delay you within 90 days of closing?

Gorgeous, hqy! Thanks for sharing!

Is your hardwood the darkest included one that Mattamy offers?

We also just got our second delay (Phase one, village towns). Weren't expecting it at all :/

Anyways, our letter says the exact same thing yours does, in the same wording. They CAN still delay past the firm date, but according to the contract, Mattamy then must pay YOU $150 per day, up to a maximum of $7 500.

That's not true. Delays must occur 90 days or more prior to closing.

What we asked was, did mattamy send you a delay notice within those 90 days? So with less than 90 days till your firm closing, you received a new closing date?

Thanks TheLucan, we were crazy busy these couple days to assembly new furniture , install all appliances and get ready to move .just took some pictures let you see.

Hi hqy,

Great Pics!! We've got less than 2 months before we move into our Lucan. Went out appliance shopping this weekend and love the side by side fridge like you have. But I have no idea what size fridge opening we have and I don't want to wait till we move in to measure it. Did you guys enlarge the fridge space or is yours standard? can you tell me if we can fit a 36" wide fridge there?

Thanks
