I can't believe these prices.. I really wonder how long prices will go up before they will go down. We currently own a 2 yr old Kingsbridge, and the base price for our model (currently $554K) is more than what we paid for our Trenton closing next year (paid $550K in Nov 2015). Of course it would be amazing for us if we sell our current home for more than we paid for our new home, but seems crazy.. Good news for us, but feel bad for people who are trying to become first time home owners right now.

Crazyness, a mattamy built home similar to a Renfrew model was recently sold for 720k. There was also a Waterford model that recently sold for 775k!

Thinking about selling our 2 years old renfrew and upgrading to a 36' lot. How much do they start at these days?

Mattamy released a couple of 36' lots two or three weeks ago and prices went up $50,000, so Hawkesbury was starting from $734,000.

Just spoke to a mattamy rep, looks like they won't have any new releases at least until the new year =( and 36s will probably start at high 700s I'm guessing.

I was wondering when they would stop release new homes for a while. Seems like they keep releasing more and more, yet there are so many people with delays! Seems like they need some time to get caught up with the existing releases! We're still pretty far from closing (phase 6), but when I hear lost of people in phase 2 that haven't closed yet, i wonder if/how long we will be delayed.

In mid June they released 36' lots in Pickering. Starting price for Pelham was $724,990, that's $82K more than the HSV6 Grand Opening price in Milton last November!

I guess its safe to say that with Milton's proximity to Burlington, Oakville & Mississauga house prices are inching very close to or even in the Million dollar range pretty soon. I just saw a price list for Alton Village in Burlington and 30'ft lots are going for $990,000(roughly 2200-2350 sqft) , and 36'foot lots $1,050,000 (roughly 2200-2350sqft) Hopefully Sir Wilfred Laurier gets the approval from the Ministry soon enough that will be great for house prices.

I talked to few friends who are in phase 7 (Closing March 2017) and they have already received the first delayed notice from mattamy. The delay is anywhere between 4-6 weeks

Last week I went to Great Gulf Home, they still have 3 31 ft lots left for phase 1. Phase 2 will come out around couple weeks. The bigger 45 ft lots will be released on Phase 2. And Country Home will be coming soon.
