With the recent news that broke about Wynne expanding Land Transfer Tax grab despite promise are we affected?
The liberals want to start this as soon as January 2016. I was hoping that because we bought in 2015 not expecting to pay the extra 2% in land transfer tax totaling 4 % that we would be safe? What do you all anticipate?
In a perfect world the town of Milton will not decide to participate but I do not see many municipalities saying no to 2% of purchase price.
I'm a little nervous as I did not expect or plan to have another 2% in closing costs.
