Election Day is October 25 and I am asking all the residents of Ward 1 to cast a vote for me
Martin Capper.
I am asking you to send me to the Town Council to represent YOU. I promise to be faithful to the principles that have earned me your vote and I will trust and encourage the residents of Milton and Ward 1 to monitor my performance throughout my term on the Council and to let me know if I am representing my constituents as promised.
I have set forth an aggressive but achievable agenda for our town. It’s an agenda that will not require amendments to either the Town or Regional Official Plan. None of the plan will require approval on the Provincial level. I will ensure that Staff develop as a high priority a set of comprehensive design standards (a planning checklist if you will) and that all future development will conform to those standards, will be well planned and equally well executed.
I’m also committed to my plan for getting the Derry Green Corporate Business Park right the first time. I will work diligently with all of our stakeholders to ensure that the Town and other entities that have a stake in the process adopt this plan. My willingness and ability to build a coalition to get things accomplished will result in increased jobs in the Town and increased tax revenue from new tax sources.
I have put forward a comprehensive platform to take Milton forward through its next growth phase. Not only have I said what I will do but also I have told you HOW I will do it over the course of this campaign.
Election Day is October 25 and I ask for the votes of Residents of Ward 1.
I ask you to send me to Council to represent you and I promise to be faithful to the principles that will have earned me your vote.
