Just curious for realtor opinions, we bought a house and in our agreement we have 3 viewings for one hour prior to closing. We have just requested our second viewing for this coming weekend, and were refused all weekends? With twin toddlers and work, it is nearly impossible to go during the week, can they do that, just refuse all weekends?

Thanks

Depends on the wording in the contract you signed in the Schedule A. Sometimes it says the seller MUST give access to the buyer for these showings, and other times it just says they must be booked with X hours notice at "Mutually Acceptable times", and that would be a grey area.
They SHOULDN'T be refusing all weekends. A polite but persuasive call from your agent should be able to find a way for you guys to get in on a weekend. BUT, if all your contract says is "Mutually Acceptable times", then it is an uphill battle from a legal contract perspective, often not worth the fight if your agent can't pull it off.

As Fred mentioned, it's all in the wording of your contract, specifically the condition to allow you the visits within the attached Schedule to the agreement of purchase and sale.

ONE word can change the legalities of the clause. Speak to your Realtor and Lawyer, but you would think that there should be some agreeable time that they could accommodate you.

Congratulations on your purchase. I hope it works out and goes smoothly for you!
