Post subject:  WANTED - Detached, 4 Bedroom, Unfinished Basement, 2-car

I am motivated to find a suitable house in the Harrison Neighbourhood and am willing to invest the money now with a mid-2015 close. We've recently moved to Milton and the kids are enrolled at the local school.

The home must be detached and I'd really prefer a 2-car garage.
The basement MUST be unfinished... or, if it's finished then I'll want to see a list of material and evidence of adherence to building codes.

There are other options that I'm exploring but short of going door-to-door and asking if someone will sell me their house next summer, I figured I'd give this a try.

Hi Faruki, What's your budget?

I won't post some cheesy line about 'needing the help of an agent' :) I'll assume you might already have one in mind. Send me your agent's name and I will let them know as SOON as I have something come up with that closing.
Very few people will be willing to sell to you now with that closing date unless you put down a hefty deposit, but as the months go by, your options will increase for sure!

Good on you for door knocking Faruki...did you know by doing that your actually working harder and smarter than 99% of most buyer agents!

Like you've been doing...I also door knock on about 80 to 90 doors per day and speak to 30-35 home owners per day. By doing so I find a lot of properties that aren't currently on the market that will be.. And sellers that would sell their home if I brought them a buyer, but don't necessarily want to put it on the market officially.

I also personally go out and preview virtually all the homes that come on the market daily. I find this gives me an intimate knowledge of the inventory for sale in Milton, which allows me to show my clients only the homes that suit their needs ... Which in turn gets them the right home faster, and at the right price.
