Welcome to 437 Laundon Terrace

437 Laundon Terrace combines a quiet crescent location and wonderful views of the Escarpment with nearly 4,000 square feet of finished space spread across four levels. It's a Greenpark-built Harvest 6 layout (2970 square feet) with five bedrooms and four washrooms, with a rare third storey loft.

The home is all-brick, fully detached with a double garage and a large front porch. Inside, there's a front foyer with lots of space to take off your shoes or greet guests, and just to the right is the separate home office. This area could be used for anything from a kids' homework area, to an exercise room, to a full-fledged home office. Closing the french doors allows for privacy and quiet as needed.

Down the hall, the home opens up to a separate dining area, family room and a large eat-in kitchen with a centre island. There are hardwood floors, upgraded trim, and large porcelain tiles in this area. And if you want a cozy night, just flick the switch on the gas fireplace and warm up while watching some TV. The kitchen has extended cupboards, plus a double oven and an induction cooktop that can boil water in 30 seconds or less. There's great flow between rooms, and lots of space for a large family or social gathering.

On the second floor, there are four bedrooms, each with their own access to an ensuite washroom. The master bedroom has double sinks, plus a stand-up shower area and separate soaker tub. And the third level loft can be used as a 5th bedroom, complete with its own washroom as well. That's a total of five bedrooms, and five washrooms - wow! If you have a large family, there's not a better floor plan on the market than this house.

The basement has been professionally finished by Owens-Corning, using their trademarked Basement Finishing System (tm). The modular panels are fiberglass-based, and are resistant to moisture, rot and mould growth, and you have easy access to the walls behind with removable panels. The sound-dampening qualities are far superior to drywall, so the home theatre sounds even clearer, almost like a recording studio. You can hang pictures without damaging the walls, and the panels are resistant to bumps and dings. And there's still plenty of storage space for your boxes, plus a rough-in washroom if you need a sixth one, and a wrap-around cold cellar to store canned goods, wine and maybe even hockey equipment.

The morning sun crosses the fenced yard, and provides plenty of natural sunlight all day in the kitchen and family room. The home is near both Catholic and public schools, and numerous local parks, and the street is very low-traffic - great for kids to play. It's an ideal location and layout for your next home.

Offered at $719,900
