This year has been a bit of a strange year for me. I usually sell a ton of homes in Milton and find a lot of homes for clients in Milton. In other words people buy and sell in town. This year has been different. I've had a lot of people sell and leave town. I've done more deals in Hamilton and Burlington this year than I've done in my entire career combined!
On that note, I have a new listing in a town called Binbrook which is about 10 minutes north of Stoney Creek. It reminds me a lot of Milton 10 years ago when it was so much cheaper than Mississauga and people moved here for the value. The home is located at 171 Pumpkin Pass, is 1950sf plus 750sf in the professionally finished basement. It's very well upgraded with hardwood, 9' ceilings, stainless appliances, berber carpet, double car garage etc. but here's the kicker...it's only $429,900! If it was in Milton I would list the house for around $560,000 at least, and it would probably sell in a week. Incredible value for someone willing to commute a little bit further.
