I am curious what you don't like about pre-finished hardwood

99.9% of floors we install are all pre-finished. Plus the cost of unfinished wood, installation & re-finishing comes out to almost the
same what you would pay for pre-finished hardwood but with no mess & potential problems.

I kind of agree with Logan on this one...

I too, prefer the finished-on-site look because it seems to have more of a homogeneous, lived-in quality to it.

I don't like the look of the bevel between the planks. While many of the pre-finished products can be quite high end... I find they often look too manufactured.
