Thanks, S & A Hi Newhomebuyer01, I had my DC appointment about 2 months after I purchased my home. For the upgrades, you require a minimum of 35% downpayment on all upgrades under $50k; $50k+ you'll need 50% downpayment. Also, upon purchase, you'll need to put down $35,000 to secure your lot. This is paid in installments over three months. ($10k on the date of purchase, $10k+$10k for the next two months, a final $5k for the third month). Good luck! |

does the 35% downpayment cover the design centre upgrades as well as the archtiect's upgrades??? or just the design centre upgrades??? |

The architect choices can go directly onto your mortage without anything down as it gets immediately built into your purchase agreement. The DC upgrades require the deposit. |

They can get built into the mortage, but you have to put 35% down (if its under 50k in upgrades). With the architect choices you can build it into the mortgage without making a deposit. |
