Would appreciate everyone's input on this design feature upgrade please....

How big is the standard opening? Any idea about costings and what to do/not to do would really be appreciated please!

I read the enclosure door they provide is a rip off? Whats better to include?

Thank you :)

Hi ss_2014, welcome. We've taken the super shower. Not sure about the ripped off bit, but there were some things we just preferred to get done by thw builder vs. Later on...

Do the super showers come in glass enclosure, or do you have to pay extra to upgrade that?

I already did all my upgrades and went with the Bath Oasis instead of super shower, but I was just wondering.

I believe that the glass enclosure is extra. We have been told that the frameless glass door will cost $1,300. The lady said the cost to have it done with all glass is between $3,500 to $4,000 depending on your home and layout.

For our super shower it was $1792 to get the glass enclosure vs $1300 for just the door.

Haven't seen the finished product, but main reason was to have half wall built in, tiling all original/ not have to ruin the tile that was installed (since we upgrades ours)

Definitely not the cheapest by any means, but more for convenience at time of move in.

I agree with SnS86. We got the super shower with glass enclosure. Very happy with the final product.

Not sure if it comes with it but you should look at having a bench installed. This was one of my favorite upgrades I did with Mattamy when I owned a Mattamy home. sadly I no longer have a bench in my new shower :(
