FYI - deleting both the kneewalls for the Renfrew comes to almost $2000. We're choosing not to, not because of the price but because we don't like the "loft" type look that it would create upstairs and we have a dog that sheds and don't need fur raining down from above.

If they haven't started pouring the foundation of your new and you are closing in three or four months then there is a very high chance that you will be delayed.

Check your mattamy papers - it should stated when they will start the foundation of your home. If that date is passed and no foundation yet then consider it delayed.

Was notified that they are still working on March closings and that I should expect to wait another 6-8weeks for our "tentative" May/2016 closing design guide.

We were convinced we'd be delayed because our neighbours were by at least a month... our foundations were all poured at the same time the previous year but we were the fire break so they never started ours until about 65 days before closing... they finished about 2 weeks before the closing date with only 2 minor things on the PDI, so miracles do happen :)

Why does everyone like the frameless shower door? It's expensive and maybe easy to chip. The chrome framed version is only $500

You can get a frameless shower door after closing for $450 installed. They are usually tempered glass and not as easy to chip

Really eh? Is it a different material that's why it chips easier?
