Hey guys, I bought a house at phase2, I was just wondering if I can change my bathtub into standing shower before the closing date. Is this available as an upgrade? How much will it cost to change it?

Depends on the model you bought it maybe available as an architect option. But if u haven't done it yet and are already past the 10days after purchase I don't think you can do it before closing.

We got the Angus model and it's not available in the architect choice.

Then the next step would be to find out if this is available though the design centre. That would be the only other option if you want to have it completed before closing.

most case the design center will tell you yes or no. My case is yes. I changed it to glass stand shower. It cost about 2k to make the change. Good for my parents who visit us-safety

Is it part of your architect choice? I ask my coordinator she said it's not part of the option in our home :(

If it's for safety, an inexpensive option is to just cut the existing tub.

They also make inserts that allow you to use it as a tub as well still.

no it is not part of any package. You can ask them to change the tub and pay them..
