I have been debating over whether I should ask Mattamy to change the mirrored sliding door in the front foyer. Does anyone have these? If so, do you like them? Should I do double swing doors instead. In my old house, I had these in the bedrooms and the sliding mechanism would sometimes jam.

We upgraded to the beveled glass sliding mirror doors that were at the oakville design Centre. I looks more modern vs the white frame and mirror which is standard.

Depending on your model it may get tight to open a double door in the foyer

How much did this cost? I will have a small foyer, cant switch to a double swing door but would like to have nice sliding doors instead of the standard.

Wow. I prefer the look of the beveled glass. Thanks so much for sharing. I think I will do the same! The price for the upgrade doesn't sound too bad either.

Hi funnyman82, I upgrade the Beveled Frameless Mirror Sliders too. But the Mattamy only charged me $457. The code no. TR/CLST0038. We should have the similar or the same sliding doors. If you need the copy, I can send it to you and you ask the Mattamy to give you the price different.

Maybe there was a difference in the size needed for each home model. The would account for the price difference I suppose.

Sorry for the confusion. I went through my actual agreement and it was $457 as wchung mentioned. $603 was the original price and now I remember during my design consultation Kristen corrected the pricing to $457 for us.. Thx for catching that wchung, appreciate it!
