ichiban, THANK YOU for posting this!! Went in today and got the $1199 Bosch fridge ... unbelievable deal! We figure we saved well over a thousand dollars by getting this fridge instead of the other models we had been considering prior to reading this post. Yaaayy.

No problem miltonLeo:D We bought the fridge too, we had been price shopping for a while now, and when this fridge went on sale, it was too good to pass up. We also bought the GE front load washer and dryer for 1299 with the mail in rebate. We haven't decided on which stove and dishwasher we want yet, but will be purchasing those from Goemans as well once we've decided. Just like R&D, we've been very pleased with Goemans so far.

Thanks for the post Ichiban!! We went bye on sunday and picked one up. We're not closing for a while but the deal was too good to pass up and they'll even hold it for a few months. I wonder if they'll price match the matching stove at $900? http://www.appliancebuyandsell.com/cata ... ?cPath=369

We bought our appliances at Goemans a few months ago at one of their big sales and we are very pleased with their salesmanship and prices. We were able to purchase all JennAir appliances for an excellent price and they were willing to hold them until December. Plus for no additional charge we go a don't pay until deal for something like 6 months after we close and they threw in a free Kitchenaid knife block and set. :D We've been recommending them to everyone!

Yep it will fit no problem. The actual fridge opening is closer to 71" or 72"; not sure why it says 69.5 in the book. Even the upgrade list we signed off on says "Appliance Cabinet Openings - All Standard: Homeowner acknowledges that all cabinet openings provided for future appliances will be as follows: ... approximately 36" wide x 70 3/4" high for refrigerator....". And our actual cutout is 36" x 72".

Is there an invite required to get into the private sale? If so, how do I get one?

Hi Leaf- they send invites out in the mail but i've seen many people go in without the invite- you'll be fine to go without one i'm sure.

We're looking for a good place to get our appliances and have been thinking about Goeman's Appliance. If any of you who purchased from Goeman's in the past would be willing to offer advice could you let us know any advice, are you still happy with your purchase? Would you recommend going to Goeman's or elsewhere?
Many thanks.

We have bought from them. Our last full appliance change was with Sears. Know what you want, do your homework and online price checking just before you buy. If you can wait till Kitchenaid has their 20% off sale plus watch for Sears no tax weekend. We ordered from Sears ( delivery in 4 months when we got our new home ), price matched at that time, few weeks later we went back and asked for "The no tax weekend" that was on) got that. Just before delivery "Kitchenaid 20% off, got that too. Then we said how about something for buying 4 appliances and they gave us extended warranties.

It's all in the planning :D

PS, we did spend a lot of time over several visits to Sears to be sure of what we wanted. The sales guy was great as well.
