I'd be interested in doing the group buy thing. Does anyone know how
much will I pay to group buy granite countertops/hardwood? I have about 71sq/ft (or 852 sq/inch) of countertop and about 790 sq/ft of wood flooring I want to do.

So who would organize this group buy? Someone going to live in our area I suppose? I'm interested to see what kind of savings we'd get.

KK, you know how many people we will need to make it worth your while? I'm skeptical we'll get the numbers.

Its probably going to depend on timing right?
We'd be interested, but we'd need it November 2007.

Approximately 350 square foot of hardwood... haven't picked a type yet.

Was wondering, closing date is inching closer and closer, We close Jan 08 HV on Esc 1, is there still a group buy being organized.

I would be interested in Granite counter top, hardwood and crown moulding.

We paid $70 for interior potlights.

For hardwood, try Milton Flooring Gallery - they work for Mattamy and they have great selection and prices.

Our cost of $70/light included the materials and labour for minimum 5 lights in a room. The gentleman put the potlights on a normal ceiling.

I would say it was a good deal.

Its stippled ceiling and there is no tell tale sign of any work unless you peer really close at the point where the initial hole is made to insert the wires.

The opening is where the wall meets the ceiling, therefore really difficult to catch once the paint over is done.

I am told that the effect is extremely minimal (less than stippled ceiling) on smooth ceilings.

May I ask who you used to purchase and install the lights.
