HEY. You've given luxury marque owners grief in the past, but you once owned an Acura yourself (and the RSX was even a notch above the entry-level EL)?! Just teasing.

Hey Laurence, I have a co-worker who may be interested in your ride, and I saw your ad at the True Tech Auto waiting area. Feel free to PM me an e-mail and I'll pass it on to him and I'll also just copy your picture links. Did you ever replace the timing belt?

;)

You bet!! I only had the Premium model though, not the Type-S.
LOL
Serisouly though, buying that car brand new was a BIG mistake, and I may have admitted that in another post somewhere.

What did I know, I was young and single at the time.... It was right after Sept 11th happened, and I figured "why not, the world is going the he|| anyway. time to upgrade from my Suzuki Esteem and Saturn SC1."

...fast forward 4.5 yrs and I'm still paying $600/month for it! even though it didn't affect my other spending since it was budgeted for, it indeed was a huge waste and a mistake I have no problem admitting.

That's how 9/11 effected me. a 30k car loan. lol

11k preowned sounds MUCH better.

I miss the car, but will never spend $30k+ on a new ride again.
Pre-owned is the way to go for this car!! And no, Lawrence and Junie aren't paying me commission, but jump on this ride now!! :)

Fred, interesting decision you've made after September 11! lol If you still have the itch to drive a type S, give me a shout, i'll let you drive it if i still have it. Maybe you'll change your mind and buy it from me! I'll even throw in my extra Mobil 1 jug!

Jumping a little late onto the thread but I find it interesting that Fredd did the same thing I did after 9/11. I picked up a 34k car that same week. I ended up losing 18k in a little over a year when I got rid of it. Never again will I buy a brand new car :) (unless I somehow get super rich)
