if you are still looking my husband and i will be looking to find a good home for our cat (don't think she still qualifies as a kitten...she is about 3 years old) before we move...

we love her dearly (she has an amazing personality) but with the baby coming we are not sure keeping her would be the best situation....especially with so much carpet....i've heard that long haired pets are not very good for infants...

harley is an orange tabby we rescued from a vet's office.....actually....she's kind of like a female garfield :D

oh...btw...she was declawed at the front...so she would need to be an indoor kitty....

THEY TAKE REALLY GOOD CARE OF THEIR KITTENS/CATS....WE ADOPTED OUR CAT FROM THERE. HIS HEALTH, PERSONALITY, ETC. IS PERFECT FOR OUR FAMILY!

I always advocate for adopting a pet from a shelter.

I do not intend to offend anyone, but I believe that "backyard breeding" is simply irresponsible. There are so many animals looking for homes, why create more? Spaying or neutering your pets is the way to go. (Except for "real" breeders, who responsibly produce actual breeds)

There is a high rate kill shelter in Hamilton. They frequently advertise on Kijiji.

Oh, one more thing :P

Sometimes adopting from a shelter may look expensive, but it is often cheaper than a "free" cat. That is because they include initial vaccines, neutering and microchiping, which will really add up.

Sorry, didn't mean to lecture, I'm just a premature "crazy cat lady". Hope you find a kitty :)
