Hi Guys,

Check out my story on PX90. It really does work you just have to stay committed. Love to hear if anyone has ever tried it ? By the way the new PX90 MCsquared is coming out in 2011 according to the beach body site.

If you want to improve your health I recommend this program !

That's hilarious. I am entering my second round of PX90 and let me tell you Insanity looks really scary. I am anxiously waiting for the new PX90 to come out. But no more potato chips for me, I think I am allergic to them now.

Its a pretty intense workout. I recommend going with the LEAN version. If you have wrist issues it will prove to be challenging. YOu may want to start with the 10 Minute trainer as I did to warm up to it.

Start off with 10 minutes, then 20 minutes, then 30 minutes. I would do 2-3 months of this and then move on to P90X.

Do your best and forget the rest ! Dont beat yourself up , its hard but just keep pushing play, take breaks, and soon enough you will see results. Stick to the diet, it works Trust me ! I have never looked like this since I was an actor at 19.

Do you have to order it online? Is it a video workout? I've heard it mentioned by a bunch of people, never actually looked into it as I have a gym membership. Would you recommend doing both? (Gym and P90)

I believe Walmart use to carry them...but yes you can get it online.
Trust me once you do P90X - you will give up gym....
Or you can do both provided you have that extra energy. P90X is an hour/day workout.
Cheers,
Trini

As an owner of P90X, I've done two full cycles, and still use it in my "own" routine. It is true, it may not be for everyone, and requires a desire to stick with the program - if you want to follow it strictly.

I train with high intensity 6 days per week, so that wasn't so much of an issue for me personally. The burnout came when I began to feel I was in a prescribed "grind" with it - e.g. I came to know the routines by memory, which became a little boring. In fact, I still do the Ab Ripper routine every couple of days entirely by memory.

My suggestion to people is to go ahead and try P90X. However, don't feel boxed into following it 100% as prescribed in the manuals. For example, I substituted the Yoga routine with another when it came around, after quickly realizing after a few Yoga days that Yoga would never excite or invigorate me, and if I kept it in the mix, I would lose interest. I also didn't follow the meal plan, but rather used my own common sense approach and switched to whole grains and removed fast food and other junk from my diet.

As Synergy-Fitness notes, I too truly believe that any successful fitness/diet program needs to be sustainable - otherwise you have a high chance of finding yourself back in the same position you were in previously.

Summary of my input - P90X is great, but don't be afraid to deviate from its prescribed plan and schedule, and take from it what works best for you. I still use elements of it today in a combined weight training, P90X and cardio plan I have made for myself.

P-90x is great. I have been working out since I was 18 yrs old. And no its not a crash workout although it does get you looking super great. I like the workouts. And let me tell you if my wife is on day 90 and trust me she hates working out, its a special something. Plus Tony at 51 looks better then most 20 year olds. The guy knows his stuff. He is the Brian Tracy of fitness and health.

There are new programs called one on one's, actually 3 volumes of them that you can order and change up the work out when you want, or supplement one for the other.

BUt I am a big believer in trusting the experts. Horton knows what he is doing. The changes and testimonials speak for themselves. I don't have time for driving back and forth to the gym, plus the socializing, and showering, and eating there, buying shakes. I found that this worked best to keep my energy levels high even when I am meeting with clients till 10 pm. Plus for a 110 bucks at the as seen at TV store, plus some bands or weights and your saving big time. Its not for everyone, you have to have the desire and grit to stick with it.

I have nothing to gain by boasting about the product. If you do it and stick to it. You can always tweak it by adding the other Tony Horton workouts which I hear are awsome.

Plus PX90 MC squared is coming out. One thing I agree on is the Yoga is a little long. But if I had that much time the workout is incredible. Stretching is something we should all do a little more of.

By the way its actually 1 day off and 1 day of stretching. So it not really 6 days a week of pure hard core workouts.

Love P90X, I'm just finishing up week 5. Doing the Lean except substituting Cardio X for Plyo. I have a love/hate relationship with the Yoga, I hate the fact that it takes 90min, but my body feels really good after doing it.

Press Play!
