Me Too!! what is your lot number? i'm not sure if you mentioned it before...

I am in Phase 3 on Coombs Court (lot 31). Have been in the house since the end of October and still loving it...I love the layout, the openness and all the windows.

Hi, there
any suggestion for
Full Glass/Frameless Shower in Ensuite?

Thanks
Gavin

Hey Gavin,

Although pricey, I got the glass enclosed shower.....very happy with it...I would have really regretted not getting this upgrade!

Totally agree....the shower glass enclosure, although quite pricey, is totally worth it. Here's a pic of our ensuite....we went with giallo capri tiles on a diagonal, maple expresso cabinetry and a travertino classico vanity. Quite happy with the end result.

Thank you for you guys quick responds and amusing picture, I know what I should do next...

By the way, do you think we should add an extra exhaust fan close to the class shower enclosure? Nik mension this issue at his previous post, I have same concern too...?

Thanks

Gavin

It is a good idea to do so. I have two in my ensuite and the one next to the glass shower is the one I use most. I did try out using the one only in the water closet and it worked just as well....that one is louder...maybe it is a higher CFM.

thanks, Catherine,
I have one more question:
Can I ask mattamy OR Design center to put one more fan just like what you did? What's cost for the extra one?

Thanks
Gavin

Hi Gavin,

You need to go through your design centre consultant to add this as an upgrade. I do not know what the cost is.....I lucked out as the second fan was an error by the trades.....I should not have gotten it.... They do add this extra fan as part of the upgrade to add a door to the water closet (toilet area) so it would be around the price for that.

Hey Hazelnut owners, we've also recently purchased a Hazelnut, in terms of the dining room wall, just wondering if you decided to leave it as a half wall or put up the whole wall, and what your opinions are?

Congrats on your purchase of the Hazelnut! I have been in mine for a year now and just love it!

The layout of the home is pretty open concept, however, I chose to put in the full wall at the dining room as I wanted the separation between the two rooms (great room and dining room). The great room is so big that it has not taken away from it and the home still remains open concept.

It also provided me with a full wall to hang artwork in the great room :D
